Chevrolet recently announced that it will start producing V-8 powered, rear-wheel-drive sedan for the US market again, the Chevrolet SS. The SS is set to debut at the 2013 Daytona 500. A limited version of the SS will come as a Chevy Camaro 2014 model, and will be in dealers’ showrooms towards the end of 2013. It is coming as the first rear wheel drive Chevrolet sedan for the US market.
2014 Chevy Camaro changes
The 2014 Chevrolet Camaro is coming, dressed to kill, designed to chase out all competitors. Mustang and Viper, be prepared, the battle is about to begin. From all indications we are getting, the car will be the meanest muscle car we have ever seen. There are two classes of car; the Camaro and the others. If you are driving one of the others, you are in trouble. It is coming fully, to take over the road and chase the pretenders to the side streets.
I am so excited about the coming 2014 Camaro, you should too. Well, if you are not, you will be after hearing about the new design and some features we are expecting. Ever since Chevrolet re-introduced their muscle cars, we have totally taken to the Camaro. Even the Corvettes and Mustang have retreated to the background. We have never seen a car so cool, and still this mean like this before!
We do not have all the details about the Chevy Camaro 2014 now, but the few things we have heard have convinced us that this car that is about to start its production journey is not going to disappoint us. Starting from the 2010 model till date, Camaro has not really changed its exterior design, but we believe that the 2014 Camaro will have some design upgrades in order to stand a better chance when competing with the ever changing Ford Mustang. We expect the exterior design upgrade to begin with the introduction of a LED taillight. A new taillight will definitely give it a newer look without moving too far from the design that has made it the highest selling muscle car in the US for the past few years.
2014 Chevrolet Camaro Specification
One thing we are sure of is that the 2014 Chevy Camaro will pack more power under its hood. We expect a 2.4- litre turbo cylinder, 2.8 or 3.0 litre V6 engine and bigger, more powerful and higher performing small block 6.2-liter V8 option. We have also heard that Chevrolet will engineer the engine to surpass the 355 horsepower the current model produces. We know that there are plans to change the architecture of the Camaro from the popular Zeta to lighter Alpha rear-drive architecture, but we have not confirmed if the change is coming now with the 2014 Chevy Camaro or we will have to wait till the 2015 model is released.
If you are passionate about race cars, and you love high performing cars just like me, you should be excited that Chevrolet is about to give us a true rear-wheel-drive race car. We have all been waiting for it, the 2014 Chevrolet Camaro is finally on its way, and I cannot wait to drive it.

I hope 2014 Camaro would come with more enhancements… 2013 Camaro is cool and it really improves a lot compare to the Camaro which we used to see on the road 20 years back.
