Although the width and height of Toyota Corolla 2014 model is within an inch of the current generation model, designers stretched its wheelbase, reduced the overhangs and gave the sheet metal more edges. The wheelbase and overall length are now up by 3.9 inches (182.6 in for L model and 183.1 for S-Model) . This creates more rear-seat space in the interior of the Toyota Corolla 2014.

The upholstery of Toyota Corolla 2014 features use of higher-quality materials than its predecessor and has more rear legroom as a result of its longer wheelbase. The rear seat hip point were shifted back by three inches, the front seatbacks were reduced (this increased legroom available for the second row passengers). Denser pads and foam inserts were also added to the rear seats to make them more comfortable.

2014 Corolla changes also in the number of trims offered. When it enters the showrooms in late August, it will be offered in 4 trim levels; 3 trim levels (L, LE, and S) carried over from the current model, and a new high-mileage LE Eco trim.
2014 Toyota corolla Engine options
All trims (except the new LE Eco trim) of 2014 Toyota Corolla will be offered with the same 132-horsepower 1.8-liter four-cylinder from the 2013 Corolla. The LE Eco trim will be powered by a new version of the same engine but with Toyota’s Valvematic valvetrain technology (the technology offers a wider range of continuously variable valve timing). According to Toyota, this result in 5% improvement in fuel economy and a similar improvement in output (140 horsepower).The initial throttle inputs for the Eco Drive mode on the 2014 corolla LE Eco trim are less sensitive which helps in eliminating the sudden starts thereby encouraging fuel efficient driving.
The 11th generation Toyota Corolla or corolla 2014 will offer six-speed manual transmission for its L and S Models. However the L model comes with 4 speed automatic transmission as well.
Price
Toyota has frequently outshone its rivals when it comes to pricing, and we do not expect 2014 Toyota Corolla to deviate from this. The 2013 Corolla is priced below $18,000; the incoming model could be offered at a similar price.
