First Glimpse of 2015 Porsche Macan

While the 2014 Porsche Macan is on its way to a worldwide debut in November at Los Angeles Auto Show, a disguised prototype of its compelling variant has already been spotted in the form of  2015 Macan Turbo which will soon follow the 2014 model. The prototype has four squared-off exhaust tips similar to the ones found in other Turbo models of Porsche like the Cayenne Turbo, Panamera Turbo and 911 Turbo which makes it apparently a prototype for Macan Turbo.

2015 Porsche Macan Features

An interesting thing about the 2015 Macan Turbo is that it will have the C-Blade air scoop mounted to its front. Macan 2015  Expected Release Date

Reports about the launch of Porsche Macan Turbo were circulated back in April 2012 but it’s been more than a year until a glimpse of the model is revealed. Since the arrival of 2014 Porsche Macan is around the corner of the year, we can expect the arrival of new Macan in late 2014, probably as the 2015 model.

2015 Porsche Macan engine options

The 2015 Macan  is excepted to have a twin turbocharged 3.0 Lt V-6 engine to drive its power which made its debut in the 2014 Porsche Panamera S. One could expect a turnout of 420 hp from the engine; however, it will be capped to 370 hp in the sedan. It will be a four wheel drive probably via the seven speed PDK dual clutch transmission.

Down the line will follow the Macan Turbo S which will most likely match the power output of Panamera S.

The 2015 Macan Turbo could receive key competition from Mercedes Benz GLA45 AMG and BMW’s M Performance X4 crossover.
