We have now confirmed that there will be a new 2014 Nissan Armada. Nissan is offering the new Armada with some new design details as a replacement for its 2013 Armada. The new car will utilizing SUV full-size and F-Alpha platform, which is also used by Nissan’s Titan full-size pickup. 2014 Armada SV vs SL vs Platinum
Just like the 2013 model, the Armada 2014 model is offered in SV, SL and Platinum trim levels.
Standard features on the entry SV trim level include an 8-way power driver’s seat, a tilt steering column, cruise control, vehicle information system, rear air conditioning controls, dual zone automatic temperature control, power windows and door locks, a six-speaker AM/FM/CD stereo and 18-inch alloy wheels.
All the features on the SV trims are available on the SL trim level. Also included on the SL models are an intelligent key entry and ignition, heated leather seats, wood-tone trim, a Bose audio system, power rear lift-gate and 20-inch aluminum wheels. Bluetooth connectivity, and USB and VTR jacks were newly added standard features for the 2014 model year.
The range-topping 2014 Armada Platinum trim level features a heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, memory driver’s seat, heated second row seats, hard drive navigation system, a DVD system with an eight-inch monitor and two wireless headphones, XM NavTraffic and 20-inch chrome-clad alloy wheels.

A new Platinum Reserve package has been added to the 2014 model year, it adds a dark chrome grille and outside mirrors, two-tone chocolate/almond leather upholstery, dark satin chrome interior accents and 20-inch dark chrome wheels to the available features.
2014 Armada engine option and gas mileage
There are no 2014 armada changes under the hood of the Armanda. It is powered by a 5.6-liter V8 engine that delivers 317 hp and 385 pound-feet of torque, and uses a 5-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The engine’s EPA ratings on the SV 4X2 models are of 13-mpg in the city and 19-mpg on the highway. The EPA numbers dropped to 12-mpg in the city and 18-mpg on the highway on Platinum 4X4 models.
Nissan Armada’s standard towing capacity is 6,200 pounds, but when it is properly equipped with an optional Tow Package, the figure increases to 9,000 pounds.
2013 vs 2014 Armada
Aside from the few exterior differences, most of the 2014 Armada changes lie in the interior. The new Armada 2014 features a soft touch executive fabric trim which brings a modern appeal to the vehicle. There are several touch screen and soft touch buttons allotted to passengers for equipment control. LEDs lighting are used in the interiors. Exterior illuminations also provide lighting to the interior.
The Armada is well known for its interior space. The vehicle can afford room for eight passengers. Although a cramped room is offered on the third-row, there are lots of headroom (resulting from the bowed roofline) and leg room for the first and second-row passengers. Just like the 2013 model, the new Armada offers a good amount of cargo space. However, the available cargo room is below what competitors like the Toyota Sequoia offers. When the three seat rows are in place, cargo room is just 20.0 cubic feet. It increases to 56.7 cubic feet with the third row folded and 97.1 cubic feet with just the first row.
Handling and Suspension
Just like its predecessors, buyers will not be impressed with Armada 2014 model’s handling and in-town maneuverability, but with the available Independent double-wishbone front and rear and KYB twin-tube shock absorbers, it gives a firm ride quality.
Safety
Standard safety features on the new Armada include the dual front and side airbags, side curtain airbags, traction control and the stability control systems.
Competitors
2014 Nissan Armada competes directly with Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Yukon, Ford Expedition and the Toyota Sequoia. There is also the Infiniti QX56, which sits on a newer platform and runs on a stronger power unit.
Release Date and Price
Buyers should expect the 2014 Nissan Armada in dealerships by late September 2013 . There is no official news concerning its exact price. Since the 2013 model was of sold between $36,375 and $51,215, So we could estimate that Nissan armada 2014 will be sold with little hike in previous years price.
