The Buick Regal introduced in 2011 has been refreshed for the 2014 model year. The refreshed 2014 Buick Regal was unveiled at the 2013 New York International Auto Show.
The new 2014 Buick, a dynamic midsize sedan was designed to be sportier and smarter than the previous models. It is more expressive, more impressive and more technologically advanced. According to Tony DiSalle, U.S. vice president of Buick Marketing, nearly half of Buick Regal buyers are new to Buick. Regal 2014 will give those new buyers technologically advanced features they may seek for in a modern luxury sedan, without leaving out the style and refinement they expect from Buick. The new Regal comes with some new technologies, purposeful safety features and offer impressive driving experience with a refined four-cylinder turbo unit along with the introduction of all-wheel drive.
2014 Buick Regal Redesign
In the 2014 Buick Regal Redesign, GM took styling to new heights. The new exterior styling details give the car a more contemporary and premium presence. A revised grille, an aggressive LED taillights and bold signature wing-shape LED daytime running lights are notable exterior features of the new car. The new LED headlamps and integrated LED tail lamps add a touch of class to the car without losing focus on what they are intended for.
The impressive design details outside sip inside the 2014 Regal facelift where some well-crafted premium materials and luxurious materials were used to create a comfortable interior. An 8.0-inch LCD touchscreen replaces the smaller screen that comes with the previous model and there is also a 4.2-inch screen which displays information from the available nav system, phone and the audio system. Other interior features in the Buick Regal 2014 model include a sport steering wheel, metal sport pedals, and GS specific sport seats with contrast stitching.
For the Regal 2014 model, Buick took infotainment system to another level. In-vehicle connectivity is enhanced with next-generation IntelliLink. Buick upgraded the available IntelliLink system to a simpler, more intuitive controls and natural speech recognition based on Cadillac’s CUE.
2014 Regal Engine Specs
The facelifted 2014 Regal is offered with two engine units. A direct-injection, 182-hp 2.4-liter four with eAssist mild hybridization was carried over for the 2014 model year. In the current model, 2014 Buick Regal Turbo and Regal GS trims use the same 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder in different tunes: 220 horsepower and 260 lb-ft in the Turbo, and 270hp and 295 lb-ft in the GS. This has been changed; the turbocharged four is now available in one configuration. For the 2014 model year, the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder is rated at 259 horsepower at 5300 rpm and 295 lb-ft at 3000 rpm.
According to GM, the base 2.4-liter four is paired to GM’s 6T40 six-speed automatic while the Regal Turbo will use the 6T70 six-speed auto (manual version has been discontinued). A six-speed manual can be fitted with the GS in Front-Wheel Drive.
With the 2014 Buick Regal Redesign, your safety is ensured with a suite of available safety features. There are the new radar- and camera-based safety features which include the Lane Change Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Side Blind Zone Alert, Forward Collision Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and the Collision Mitigation Braking system – for surround protection. Adaptive Cruise Control is also offered.
Buick Regal 2014 is scheduled for release later this fall. The pricing details should be available before the release date.

Its good to see the Buick Regal in a new avatar. The car looks amazing after having incorporated some changes in its exterior as well as interior design.
Buick is already so much popular in China and it seems to have entered into the America markets with a plan. The styling looks impressive.
