If you appreciate a minivan and you are confident enough to drive one, the 2013 Toyota Sienna is the best you can find. Toyota has won us over with its versatility in design, and willingness to give us comfort year in year out. Siena has been one of Toyota’s weapons; this new model gets a total redesign, and combines an out-of-the-world internal comfort and amazing features that will make us like it even more. Are you in market for a family hauler? Do not buy a minivan until you check out this special car.
Is 2013 Toyota Sienna going to be a redesigned model?
We have been told that the upcoming 2013Toyota Sienna will still have most of the things we like in the current model but there could be some feature upgrades among trim levels, and there is also a possibility of one or two additional colour choices. The last time Sienna was fully redesigned was in 2011, the 2012 model was only expanded with some infotainment tech. After its release, the 2013 Sienna will likely be the only normal sized minivan in the market that uses a fuel-efficient four-cylinder engine and an all-wheel-drive AWD. With the Honda Odyssey, it will be the only minivan in the market.
Toyota Sienna 2013 Engines
The Toyota Sienna 2013 will continue with its many engines choices to cater for different needs. The 4-cylinder engine is for those who want high fuel usage, the SE trim level have a sport tuned suspension, and it is good if you need additional responsive handling. The four-cylinder engine will likely retain its 187 HP and 186 pound-feet of torque. Sienna’s sole transmission is there to give energetic acceleration to the new car, and the six-speed automatic transmission promises to be exceptionally smooth. The 4WD offered will give you an advantage in the rain and snow, Siena is the only minivan that offers this feature.
2013 Toyota Sienna features
To the interior, 2013 Sienna offers a quiet cabin. The minivan will come with some impressive features. The features that impressed us most are the multiple zone air conditioners, cruise control, telescoping controls, 4 speaker audio system with an audio jack, split screen video monitor for the rear seat occupants and available recliner style seats for the second row. There will be just three rows of well-padded seats, in order to have a generous leg room. It should be noted that the cargo versatility cannot be compared with that of Dodge caravan, but a 39.1 cubic feet cargo room is available even when the seats are all occupied.
There will be five trim levels available: regular trim, LE, SE, XLE and Limited. Each of the trim will have a two wheel drive, but the Limited trim level and XLE may also have a 4 wheel drive. We expect the Toyota Sienna 2013 to be available in warehouses by late-summer 2012. Toyota has not given us an official base price, but we believe that its base price will be between $31,000.00 and $36,000.00 depending on the trim. This figure excludes the $810.00 destination charge. It is expected that 2013 Sienna would come with EPA rating of 22/18 ( highway/city) with AWD.
With the different trim levels, improved engine, better interior and exterior design, and many new features, the Toyota Sienna 2013 will offer high performance and satisfaction, and it is worth waiting for.
