The new generation looks for more comfort along with great design when it comes to buying a car. That is one of the reasons for the success of the middle sized sedans. The 2013 Toyota Camry is the re-designed model of its prior version suitable for the new age buyers. Though the Toyota Camry 2013 isn’t expected to be more spacious and efficient in terms of fuel, it may turn out to be more expensive.
The 2013 Camry is a conservative design with lined bodywork and a fashionable lower grille. Unchanged from the 2012 model, Toyota 2013 Camry will be a mid sized sedan with a spacious trunk and seating arrangement. The 2013 Toyota Camry configuration of front wheel drive placing the engine weight and transmission at the front adds to its packaging efficiency and eases driving in tough conditions. The hybrid model of the 2013 Camry would likely be seen with XLE and LE trims with advanced features such as power windows, cruise control, tilt steering, filtered air conditioning etc. Toyota Camry 2013 Hybrid is secured with brake assistance and brake force distribution, airbags mounted in front and the sides and a system to monitor the pressure in the tires.
Toyota 2013 Camry will not be audacious in terms of horsepower but its ability to deliver high with average specifications makes it appealing. Unlike its top rivals, the 2013 Toyota Camry is expected to be traditionally designed with engines of 4 and 6 cylinders. The 2013 Camry with 4 cylinder engine will most likely be 2.5 liter with 178 watts of horsepower and a torque of 170 pound ft. whereas the one with 6 cylinders will have a horsepower of 268 watts and torque of 248 pound ft. The 6 speed automated transmission linked with Toyota 2013 Camry engines allow the control the gears manually by the floor shift lever or with the steering wheel paddles in SE models. Dimension of the wheels will vary from 16” on the LE models to 18” on the SE models. The equipment for Toyota 2013 Camry will include 10 airbags along with airbags at the curtain side, knee airbags and side airbags. It will also be equipped with the Star Safety system, Vehicle Stability control system and Antilock braking system.
The 2013 Camry would come with its basic features though spread widely across all the models however a navigation system would only be available in the SE and XLE models. The standard features would include air conditioning temperature gauge, locks etc. Toyota 2013 Camry will also facilitate mobile connectivity via Bluetooth and a USB interface for iPods. Also depending on the model you choose, the Toyota Camry 2013 could be equipped with Entunes system which can provide web services on your smartphone. The higher models will have a touchscreen integrated with a navigation system.
The prices for the 2013 Toyota Camry are still not announced though one could expect it to be in the range of $22K to $31K. The sedan with four cylinders could be the most fuel efficient with a rating of 25 mpg in the city compared to the one with 6 cylinders having a rating of 21 mpg in the city. Toyota Camry 2013 will be out in the market somewhere during the late summer of 2011. We will update it later .
