The front wheel drive 2013 Chrysler 200 has a strong claim to the leadership position of the midsize car segment with the modern features it offers. Two engines have been built to supply power to this vehicle: there is a 173-horsepower rated 2.4-litre 4-cylinder and a 283-hp and 260 lb.-ft. of torque 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 engine (this comes with either a six-speed automatic with manual shift mode or a four-speed auto transmission system). The 2013 Chrysler 200 Limited 2dr Convertible is powered by the 283-hp and 260 lb.-ft. of torque rated Pentastar V6 engine hooked to a 6-speed auto transaxle. The MPG of the engine is 19/29 city/highway. Exterior upgrade includes the fenders and fasciae, exterior mirrors, LED brake light, LED tail-lamps, and projector fog lamps and headlamps.
The Limited Convertible trim features DVD video capability, 18-inch aluminum wheels, leather upholstery with heated front seats, remote start, iPod and USB connector, bright mirrors/handles and a hard-drive media centre. The S trim gets exclusive chromed dual exhaust finishers with bright tips and wheel treatment. Available options include Navigation package, six Boston Acoustics speakers and power sunroof. Safety features include traction and stability control systems, six airbags, tire pressure monitor, active front head restraints and a security system.
The 2013 Chrysler 200 S 2dr Convertible is styled with black background headlamps, unique front grille, body colour mirrors and door handles and it rides on 18-inch aluminum wheels. This unique exterior combines with the same 283-hp and 260 lb.-ft. of torque 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 engine found in the Limited trim and a wide range of modern interior convenience features like heated front seats, leather seat with “S” embroidered on the head rests, suede door trim bolsters, perforated leather steering wheel cover, a black headliner, Uconnect voice command, 30 G hard drive media centre and a 276 watt Boston Acoustic sound system to make the trim extremely unique.
Price Details
The convertibles base price ranges from $27,100 to $32,595 depending on the trim level. The 2013 Chrysler 200 Limited 2dr Convertible trim starts at $27,100, the Limited 2dr trim will start at $32,095 and the S 2dr trim is priced at $53,595.
Of all the trim levels available in the 2013 Chrysler 200 Convertible, the S 2dr stands atop. It has cemented its position as the top of the class trim with its more attractive design, standard features and higher performing engine, and the price difference is negligible.
